Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! That's quite a few symptoms happening at once which can feel overwhelming but they may actually be connected. The battery not holding a charge combined with the car shutting off and electrical oddities like the doors locking and unlocking on their own could all be pointing toward a failing alternator or a significant electrical issue. The screeching and grinding when turning could be a separate issue with a wheel bearing or CV axle, but it's also possible a seized belt driven component like the power steering pump is causing both the noise and putting extra strain on the charging system. Getting the charging system tested and a full scan for codes would be a smart first step before going further!
