1994 Geo Tracker How to do a push rod adjustment??
How to do a push rod adjustment??
What is your question?
1994 chevy tracker having brake issue still, (brakes keep building up pressure). I want to do a push rod adjustment, anyone know how to do this on a 1994 Tracker? Any help is greatly appreciated.
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 1994 Geo Tracker. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
I'm aware of that. The previous owner did some work on the rear brakes( to what extent, I'm not sure and I can't ask cause he passed away unfortunately.). I want to check the push rod and if necessary, adjust it. I'm fully aware that push rod length doesn't change on its own.
You stated "brakes keep building up pressure".. That sounds to me like something is 'changing' as you drive .. If that's the case the pushrod is not the problem .. If it were, it would start out that way from the beginning!
Got 'free play' in the brake pedal when first starting out ?? Simple question and easy to check by using hand to move pedal BEFORE starting engine and vacuum is applied to the >>**BOOSTER**<< ...!!! One more simple question... How did the pushrod length change???
