Was I ripped off or not? I live in the 90064 west la area

I live/work here in California, $90 an hour is fair for a reputable automotive repair shop. Oil change and filter and waste disposal a little high, timing belt replacement is very high, transmission fluid a little high, tires reasonable, battery with installation fair, wiper blades fair!

I agree some of the prices seem a little high, but without seeing an itemized list it's hard to tell. However if you use the estimate tool on this site at the very top of the page(says "estimate") you can put your year make and model of your vehicle and the service(s) you are looking for (oil changes, tire replacement, timing belt etc.)and it will give a very accurate range of what you could expect to pay. The range is comparison pricing specific to your zip code of what you might pay from an independent shop to a dealership. You can also find a local ship within 10 miles of your zip code and I would recommend looking at reviews and see if they have other satisfied customers (they will have orange stars by their name).
