driver and passenger power windows stop working

First thing I'd do is to pull up the main window switch on the driver's door, use a meter or testlight and see if the switch is actually working. If any or all the windows (front and rear) don't work from any of the window switches, a main switch failure or disconnection would do it. Make sure you have power and ground to the main switch first.
