Is there a way to just replace the compressor barring so the compressor wont lock up ?I don't have the money to have the whole AC system worked on now,bet need the car to run with out it locking up and breaking the serpentine belt.

Thank You Roy,i wish you lived in Fl,I have a 42'motor home that has a new 454 or 452 big block in it that has 1450.miles on it and a new Tran's with about 1700. miles on it that i want to sell or barter for it,the unit was in a wreck before i bought it and they put the wrong one it and about every 2000.miles it goes out and after it wiping me me out of over $29,000.00+ i just want it gone.Thanks again Jodi
