What is your question?
I own a 2001 Ford Wind star minivan and at least two to three times a week when I am stopped in the middle of rush hour traffic, the my van will make a loud racing type sound. Sort like something is stuck like the fan or something else. Also under my dash, there is a ticking like sound and I took to the Ford dealer for a recall and they could not determine what was wrong with my van. Recently, the light that indicates that one of the doors is ajar keeps coming on and staying on. My dome lights do not come on the way that they should and the ABS and regular brake light has always come on ever since I have owned. it. I also took my van to have the air condition checked and the mechanic said the the AC line was cracked and to replace it, would cost $503.00. How much should it really cost to replace this part.

it seems as though your van is having all of the common failures that I see al the time at once!noise under the dash-blend door actuator faulty, racing noise under hood-possible cam sensor and syncronizer, spray all of the door latches with wd-40 for the door ajar light concern to see if that fixes it,check the brake pressure switch located under the master cylinder, unhook the 2 pin connector and see if it is full of fluid-if so replace it. another common failure for abs/brake light on is the abs ecu.have the dtcs pulled and diaged.it depends where the a/c line is to know how much to replace, several line on the windstart are more than difficult to replace.good luck!
