How many more miles do i have left when gas light comes on

Hello, please refer to your owners manual on this information. It can tell you the amount of gallons left approximately when the light comes on -- usually 1 and a half or so. Depending on your driving habits, this could be very low miles -- depends on your average fuel economy. Basically -- do not wait -- get fuel before this light comes on! On a 16 year old vehicle, I wouldn't count on complete accuracy of the gauge and warning mechanisms anyway.
