Bought the van about a week ago.driving home check engine light came on.
What makes this problem better or worse?

take it to a parts store,AZ,ORLY,ADV (if they will read them in CA, it's free here,but I don't know if CA will still let them read the codes there) if so,have the code(s) read if the CEL is on,then post code(s)....
