my van smell gas.I replaced the sparkplugs but their wasn't new I took them from a freestar van do you think that could be the issue?

i would look for an external leak first. there are many places that fuel can leak. have a shop check it for you. you should never put used plugs in your vehicle. for 1.99 a plug, it is well worth replacing with new. Roy
Codes don't tell you plug or wire. They probably say cylinder misfire. Could be base engine issue, valve train issue, fuel injector issue, coil issue, plug issue, wire issue Lots of possible causes - needs a good diagnosis before throwing more parts and effort at it.
but both vans are almost the same and later what i did. i replaced the spark plug from the cylinder #5 to #6 cause the trouble coude was telling me that it could be the park plug or a wire or the coil but it's still doing the same and i cheked and is not any furl leak do you think would be better if i get the new spark plugs and the wires cause i haven't changed sense 1 year ago
