how can you tell if the water pump is going out?
What is your question?
hear a wobley noise near the serpentine belt. Occasional loss of coolant. Top radiator hose easy to squeeze, and doesn't appear to be carrying water/antifreeze.

remove the belt and check for play in the water pump bearing. if there is, replace the pump, thermostat and flush the system. if not, go to a shop to have the system pressure tested for the leak. Roy
