Emissions cleanser recommended and now I failed inspection due to emission

we drive this van 1800 miles ONCE per month. I took in for routine service and was recommended to have emisiions cleanser package. No sooner did I leave the dealer that my engine light went on ( wasn't on when brought in). I then failed inspection at the DMV due to the light AND emissions.Took back there. Was told the codes needed to be reset BUT needed to drive vehicle for 100 miles before reinspection. Did that, Went to take back to inspection and engine light back on and now vain wont start. Dealer towed it and now telling me it was NOTHING they dd wrong!
