What is your question?
My 2002 TBird was leaking fluid. I took it to Ford and they replace some gaskets and power-steering pump. I drove my car home and it started knocking on the right front side. I put gas in the car with the intention of taking it back to find out what the knocking was and the Ck engine lite came on. I tightened the gas cap. Light remained on. I took it back to Ford and they said I needed a need powertrain module. I had it replaced and NOW, I was. told by the Ford repair shop that the car won't EVEN start! What the heck? They've had my car for over a month and instead of fixing it, it has been made worse. The Ford mechanics said they're awaiting a response from FORD Company to figure out what the problem is--has anyone else experienced anything like this AND, if so, how was it addressed and fixed? So far, I've been out 2200 dollars and I don't even know if they are going to charge me more for all the time they have had it. I need to know how to approach the situation.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Putting in a new PCM made things worse.
How long has your 2002 Ford Thunderbird had this problem?
