Camshaft position sensor code 340 keeps coming up making my check engine light come on

Which engine do you have -- the V6 or V8? If the P0340 code keeps recurring, you will need to check for a wiring issue, a connector issue, or further into that system into the PCM. A good diagnostic tool and digital voltmeter ohmmeter (DVOM) will be helpful, as well as a shop manual for direction.
