Hello, Hard to know what you mean by this. If the anchor will not keep the seat belt attached, either the belt needs replaced, or the anchor needs repaired at a body shop. I would recommend seeking a free evaluation at a local body shop to see what you are experiencing in person and give you advice.
DaveJM - The anchor on the side of the seat will not hold the belt that comes down over the shoulder. The latch inside the anchor will not hold. It just keeps clicking as I insert the metal piece, but won't keep the belt in place. I will go to a local body shop and see if someone can repair it. Although, I was told it can't be fixed by some mechanics. Need to go to a auto junk yard, maybe!? Thank you for your time. TCF
Hello, I think I understand better now -- the female end of the seat belt buckle will not secure the male end. There is likely an internal issue inside the buckle, and it will need to be replaced as an assembly. You indeed may need to get with a salvage yard if no original Ford parts are available.
