How much should the Intake Manifold cost to be replaced? Or just replace the seal? I have to add anti freeze to the container after it sits for a day or so. The mechanic said the Intake Manifold needs to be replaced. Not just a seal... does this sounds extreme?

This is prior to the composite 4.6L V8 intake manifold crack that leaks coolant, so i'd be curious to know what the concern and diagnostic results are.
The composite intake manifold leak started with the 1996 model year, only on 4.6L V8 engines.
