2013 Taurus SHO will start and idle just fine but as soon as you push on gas pedal it dies out.

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Usually when I learn of something like this, I think of a vacuum leak being present. This causes excessive air into the engine compared to the fuel and spark mixture. You can never get enough fuel to compensate for massive air leaks.
