Where is the canister purge valve located

The canister valve is located in front of the rear passenger side wheel near the exhaust. You will need to drill out a couple of rivets to get the plastic cover off, along with one 10mm bolt. The rivets I replaced with nylon push pins. Make sure you have jack stands available as you need to get a couple feet under the vehicle. It is possible to get to it without taking the cover off but much easier removing the cover.

would it be easier to just replace the whole canister unit. its only 50 $ more then the Vapor Canister Vent Valve / Solenoid. you buy the whole unit it comes with a new Vapor Canister Vent Valve / Solenoid anyway. im stuck in the same boat i need to replace the Vapor Canister Vent Valve / Solenoid just thought it would be easier to replace the whole thing
