What is your question?
I need a new motor for my 2013 Taurus Limited, I have the 3.5l Non turbo V6. I found a donor engine from a 2019 Explorer that has low miles, a lot of places say only the 2016-2019 Taurus's will fit that motor, but that doesn't make sense since the motor didn't change... right? Everything looks the same on the outside, I just need it to "plug and play" and be done. Thank you

I take that back. The base engine block and cylinder heads are identical. Ensure you strip it down to that and use any other add on Taurus components to ensure proper communication with the PCM.
Do you know the wiring harness lines up? Or can I swap harnessess? A lot of the sensors I see on the new one look the same as the old engine. The newer motor says it will fit a 2016-2019 Taurus as well. It's so hard to find info on these newer cars, thank you for the help.
