Aftermarket radiator issue

What is your question?

I replaced, or rather in the process of replacing my radiator. The issue is that this new radiator has only the upper and lower inlet/outlet connections. There is no inlet for the coolant overflow hose. My question is: can I splice the upper radiator hose and connect the overflow line to that?
