How much will it cost to replace the flywheel? should anything else be replaced?

I am on medical benefits so my budget is EXTREMELY limited. I have access to a Ford Taurus to be given to me. It has 250k miles. Engine runs good. It has a front end issue that by description is likely just ball joints..who knows yet though. How much is likely to be the repair on the front end if it is ball joints and how much will it cost for the flywheel replacement?
