how do i replace the altenator

What is your question?

I do things on my own as a woman especially if I have instructions to do so. I have no vehicle right now and neither does my husband. The only problem I have with my car is the altenator has gone out. I think it was a bad one when I had it put on in July of 2010 in a small town while visiting a friend. I feel more comfortable screwing it up myself since all the other one was not fixed right. PLEASE GIVE ME THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REPLACE THE ALTENATOR
