Ignition coil plugs and wires...

My 06 Taurus started missing & "bucking" thought that I needed new spark plugs.My local mechanic diagnosed the issue as the coil pack which he replaced. car drove ok for about a month & started with same issue. Had plugs replaced since coil pack was only a few months old..same issue. mechanic thought coil pack was bad, so he replaced it. Same issue. Suggested that I take it to Ford dealer so that it can be tested. Ford said that my fuel rail sensor was bad. I had them replace it & reset my computer as suggested. 2 days later, same issues as before. Returned to Ford only to find out that the coil back was bad. Apparently aftermarket coil packs don't work very well & only 4 plugs will fire. So after paying $400 for a fuel rail sensor, I still need $300 for another freaking coil pack. Very Frustrating!

I had this very same problem, had my plugs, wires and coil pack replaced on my 02 Taurus and the car still ran the same. I had come to find out that my computer system was short circuited and that I need that replaced instead.
