What is your question?
I took my car to a repair shop this morning because the check engine light was on. The repair shop put my car on the computor and the proplem is a sensor in the fuel tank. Also my fuel gauge does not read accurate or will go to empty sometimes when I have just filled up the tank.

On a Ford Taurus, there is a whole fuel module that goes in to the tank that includes the fuel level sensor and the fuel pump. It runs almost $500 for the part alone and takes about 2 hours to do the job, because the fuel tank must come out, so figure about $700. https://repairpal.com/ford-repair-in-salisbury-north-carolina
If this is a Flex Fuel Taurus, before spending $700, there is a $50 part called the flex fuel sensor. It is under the dash and can be changed by yourself. It is listed on fordparts.com as "Alternate Fuel Sensor". This is for FFV vehicles only.
