Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Sounds like a failed alternator diode or voltage regulator concern (which is within the alternator). Have a shop near you check the charging system for proper amperage and voltage output. I bet you'll find it's not sufficient. Before you do that, have them check the 12 volt battery to make sure it is fully charged and able to sustain a load. A good and charged battery is required to properly check the charging system.
