My power steering is making a loud squeal noise and I have been told the power steering motor should be replace. Squeals constantly.

Check any auto parts store for a steering wheel pump. There is no motor. Pumps are belt driven. I would check the belts, first, anyway. Then, I would check, over the course of a day or two, the power steering fluid level for leaks. Additionally, use what your manufacturer says to use for power steering fluid. My work car is an 2004 Taurus SES 3.0 ohv. Ford says to use Mercon ATF.
