What is your question?
I am getting expensive estimates to replace the A/C belt on my 03 Ford Tarus. I'm not an auto tech, but I have replaced the drive belt before on my Chevy before. However I'm uneasy about doing this myself, because I am not sure if I have the necessary skills to replace an A/C belt on a different car. How involved is it? Thanks!

Before you start, get the belt route diagram. If don't have it, sketch it. Make sure you buy the correct replacement belt (preferably, Motorcraft). To take out the old one, use a 15mm wrench on the tensioner and turn it clockwise (to your right). This will take the tension off the belt and you can slide it off. Installation is the reverse.
