My mechanic told me it would cost $850 to replace the water pump, thermostat, upper and lower hose and the tension pulley and belts. Is that a fair price?
You can do it yourself it's pretty easy it's to the left of the battery down and under plastic cover bolted to engine. The pumps are around $50. At o'reilly's. Oh yeah find another mechanic his ripping you off.
