I'm hearing a click when it guits and starts again.Also my dome light goes out when I open my glove box and windows won't work for a few minutes.
What makes this problem better or worse?

How long has your 2003 Ford Taurus had this problem?

Hello, when you say "dome light acting up" do you mean the light comes on intermittently while this happens? A gut feeling is that the door switch on the latch thinks the door is open -- and prevents normal window function as well as turns the dome light on. I'd check in this area. Could be a latch issue or a door adjustment issue, or a switch issue.
