Fan won't spin car smoking by reservoir

Good morning DSCONYERS, With the engine cold, please check to make sure that your radiator and/or your expansion tank has enough coolant in it. I would not attempt driving the vehicle with the radiator fan not functioning, particularly if there is little to no coolant left in the engine. You may overheat the engine and not even see that on your coolant temperature gauge, under this condition. You may reach us at (248)307-1200 and we can arrange to have it towed in and diagnosed as early as this morning. Looking forward to meeting you soon, Interstate Auto Care customer team
Hello, is your vehicle overheating and is the smoking coming from coolant boiling over? Or are you seeing smoke from electrical wiring or the fan itself? The fan could be locked up, but the relay and controller for the fan could also be compromised. This will definitely require some good troubleshooting.
