Engine quit while driving a slow speed for a second time.

The first time this happened, my wife was driving alone. I picked her up and was able to start the car and drive home. I test drove the car for a couple of days and everything worked fine. I assumed that some bad gas had caused the problem and that it had gone away. Today, after a couple of months it happened again.
