It would really just depend on what the cause is, if you have a bad sensor or solenoid causing the issue then it shouldn't really be more that 3 or 4 hundred dollars. If you bring your car by one of my locations we will drive and scan your car for free and let you know what it will take to fix it.

If trans is an AX4N and it shifts normally(without O/D)then it needs a 2cent vale retainer for f/cl valve .to bad its a big job to r+r the valve body
