What is your question?
hi. I just bought a 2002 Taurus. I think the guy screwed me. I put 500 miles on it. one day I was leaving work. I deliver sandwiches. it was slipping in reverse. got a mile away and it was slipping real bad in drive. I parked it and walked home. I put about 3 quarts of trans fluid in it and drove it home. I woke up the next day and drove it all over the place. in overdrive above 50-55 mph the transaxle light came on. it doesn't do it in drive. so I would drive it around then pull into my lot and park it over some white cardboard and nothing. so I go to work and take a couple deliveries. on my second one im reversing and notice that im dribbling fluid. get back to the store and its dribbling pretty good. I tell the boss I need to go change out cars. I had to take a delivery about 4 minutes away. it was leaking pretty bad and started slipping. I barely made it to an advance auto and bought a quart. added it and barely got home. I would say it was leaking a quart in about 4 minutes. so I get under it today and it was such a large leak that the whole underneath was covered. I couldn't really tell where it was coming from. and it wasn't leaking at the time. its towards the front of the car because I could see it with the hood up. so I decide to run it around and see if I can get it leaking so I can identify the source. I drove it all around town. I kept it in "d" rather than "od" I reversed I went forward, I accelerated quickly. I went up hills down hills. turned it off to get gas. turned it off to get more fluid so I didn't get stranded. pulled in different lots and reversed and didnt see any leak. so time was running out because im a single dad and had to cook for these wild animals. and now I don't have daylight. I will try again in the morning. so im hoping there are some ideas out there floating around or maybe someone has experienced this before. the best I can say right now is when it starts to leak it is just a dribble but then it gets worse. its as if it is related to the transmission warming up perhaps. just to be clear, I drove it for over an hour tonight. starting and stopping. in town up to 50 miles an hour. regular driving and the occasional quick acceleration. thanks for any opinions
