i have a 2002 ford taurus 3.0 ohv v6 my fans wouldnt kick on but i replaced the temp sending unit they kick on now but right when its boiling over and when they kick on they arent spinning very fast but when i unplug the temp sending unit they turn on automatically at high speed with no boil over the a/c quit kicking on too any info would help

Actually, there is only 1 input to the PCM that supplies temperature information related to the cooling fans- the ECT, which is located in the cooling system under the throttle body. The PCM uses this information to determine if one or both fan relays need to be energized. Unplugging the ECT sending unit will put the system into default and apply the high fans. Some diagnosis information with a scan tool is required for me to advise any further. This site is an excellent source of info: http://www.alldatadiy.com/
the 2002 ford taurus has 2 temp controls that work's the fan one onintake one in driverside head
r u talking about the one thats screws into a heater hose under the intake? i replaced the one on to that gos strait down in the intake the temp sender the only other one is for the gauge and the gauge does work
