what is the easiest way to remove the engine from the vehicle

Sorry but have to say it. The easiest way is for someone else to do it for you. Sorry but could not pass that up. The easiest way is for you to have the knowledge, tools, lift to take car up and down, cradle to support trans, cherry picker that has all the bells and whistles so can tilt and move on threaded rail and above all else have lots of patience. Having a mechanically inclined buddy for help and moral support doesn't hurt either. Have a manual to refer to and follow the R&R steps. Transverse engines typically are harder to do. I wish you lots of luck. Make sure you use a good quality replacement so can depend on it when try for the restart after reinstall. Make sure to not skip steps. I myself have had very good luck with Jasper Engines but can also get good quality from dealer. The thing I always liked about Jasper was that if any updates came out for engines since original production then the rebuild has the updates in it. They also can sell you engine/vehicle specific cooling system hoses/belts kits and tune parts kits. Had a great warranty also.
