Why is my daughters 2000 Ford Taurus keep having issues with the water pump seal

What brand of waterpump is being used? I can't imagine them failing that fast. I have had bad luck with GMB water pumps on some asian cars so I won't use them. Has any repair shop mentioned any abrasive materials found in the cooling system when they have previously replaced the water pumps.

I won't mention the Major store,but i had a friend do his water pump a couple of times because they are junk/defective. I tell all my customers to spend the extra money on factory parts. If they want to bring me Major store parts,i tell them no warranty and they will get charged each time i replace the part again. After 2 replacements that is most likely the same as dealer part replacements.
