Check engine light comes on when it's hot out. It shuts off when it gets cool.

While the CEL(check engine light) is on go to one of the major auto parts places and get the code read. Post back with the code, it should be the letter P followed by 4 numbers like P0420. With out that code it will be really hard to isolate a problem.
