the electric windows work intermittantly. If it is warm/hot outside they work. If it is cold r raining they do not. I do not think it is the motor because when they do work they work well. What could be the problem? I have taken the door panel off and checked the control panel switch but everything there seemed fine and not corroded.

Well i would try to oil up the machine with WD40 may be the machine or the switchest
Fords have a GEM (generic electronic module), and the body functions such as power windows, power locks, ect. run through this module. I would check the plug at the module for corrosion, and or pins at the connector for pulling out. You can check wire resistances from the switches and the module too.
