not start from key but will from screw driver crossing on starter. put new battery and starter in. still nothing

check for power on the little wire at the starter solenoid. if there is 12 with the key in the start position, the starter is bad. if there is no voltage, then you have to back track and start from the ignition switch to the neutral safety switch to the starter to find the failure. Roy
I did install a new battery and starter last night. will check for neutral safty switch next. Thxs from Dallas
