Ball joints need to be replaced. Can't get them off. I broke one and now the joint is stuck. I tried using a torch, saw. Any suggestions?

they have a retainer clip that wraps around them rec renting a balljoint press because a hammer can cause damage to the control arm
thanks finally got it off I took it to be pressed off and the new one pressed in.
Sounds like you need to remove the knuckle assembly and take it to a shop. I don't think the ball joint is pressed into the lower control arm for a 1996. Replacing the knuckle assembly is another option.
