While driving today my blinkers just stopped working. No lights, blinking or clicking.Do I need a flasher replacement?Where is it located and could I fix this problem myself or do I need to go to a shop?Thank-you,Sean

Check fuses #1 and #5 in the instrument panel fuse box (both 15 Amp) they protect the turn signal circuit. Flasher unit is located behind the dash on the driver's side. Three wire going to it black, red/white and I think light blue.
This happened to me a while ago. The blinkers go through the hazard switch on the column. Try turning the hazards on and off 20 or 30 times and rock the switch around while doing that. I have to do that with my car about once a year when the blinkers stop working. If it is the hazards switch you will still hear the relay clicking about twice as fast as normal when you turn the blinkers on but the lights will not illuminate on the dash or the marker lights. If you don't hear the relay then you probably have a fuse or flasher issue.
For sure last minute help for my friend. The owners manual never referred to this. thanks a million.
