i have a fusible link going toward the starter relay but dont know where it goes.

I have a 92 sho with 3.0 yamaha engine and mine goes to the little slip on connector on the starter solenoid. If you look up a starter solenoid on autozone or a parts store for your car there is a good picture of it. There are two bolt terminals and what I call a little slip on connector behind them. That is where it should go.
