What is your question?
Hey, all. I recently had my front brake pads and rotors changed. Bought all brand new parts. I picked up the truck today and now it is squealing when I turn right and when I take a hard left. This didn't happen with the old brakes and rotors. Also, now all of a sudden, the engine is making a weird slapping noise at idle. It will make that noise for about 5 seconds and then stop for about the same amount of time. I also noticed that the oil light came on on the way home tonight but went away almost instantly. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the noise. What could be the problem?

Hello, this sounds like more than one problem, but it is too hard to determine without hands on and ears on testing. Squealing could be at the wheels, like brake backing plates touching, or under the hood like a loose drive belt or extra load from the power steering system pump. Without hearing the noise, it's hard to suggest what direction to go into. Slapping noise on and off - could be from the air conditioning system turning on and off at the compressor. Also a guess without hearing the noise, but a place to start. The oil light could be from a very low idle, or an actual oil system concern. Hands on is the only way to test i'm afraid.
