Wont start with new battery or starter

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Something is not working as expected. If the battery installed in the vehicle is known to be good, fully charged and able to except a load, and the starter motor is good and known to be able to operate properly, then I would wonder about a few other things. Is the proper key being used? These keys must be programmed to operate with a vehicle and starter interrupt will occur if they are not. Are the battery cables securely fastened and clean without any corrosion?
