my truck has a oil leak .can it be the pvc valve?

your valve stem seals are shot allowing oil to drain down around the stem of the valve into the cylinder an excess amount will drip down when not running and that causes it to smoke when you first crank it up but it also is burning oil while running it's just not that obvious
