was worse,changed coil some improvement. still idle is alittle rough. truck vibration goes away when i speed up or slow down.

I would check for any codes, your 2000 has an OBD-II computer system and it is very good at snatching codes that will help you find the problem. Also, don't rule out a compression test, just to be sure that the cylinders are still ok.
