Last owner replaced ignition cylinder with fob key type can I switch back key

What is your question?

Fob key only 1 when purchased I lost tried changing cylinder but found out it was a coded type. Can I bypass or remove coded type key and cylinder and go back to original key cylinder type.i did find fob key and have old cylinder can I recode so as to make pickup start again pickup has been sitting a long time now

What makes this problem better or worse?

Nothing but did find fob key
