dome light stays on when you shut door

I had the same problem on mine, and there is an electrical switch (dome) in the door mechanism, where it latches. The switch sticks alot, so I took some penetrating oil and sprayed the door mechanism real good, not too much maybe 2 or 3 good squirts, works for me everytime and lasts long too. I would give that a try and use it on both doors and all 4 doors if you have them. If it drys up in 6 months, spray again.
