check purge canister if gets stopped up wont return fuel to tank instead dump's fuel into engine had same problem

I believe you are right about thepurge cannister. Thanks. Now if I knew what the damned thing looked like. I sure miss the days of the muscle cars. Crawl in, sit down, fix the problem.
