driver side power window will not go up, I can hear a click when I press button,

I have had the same problem with my 1993 ranger though it has been intermitent, found when I park my truck with the front on an uphill driveway overnight the window will work the next morning? not a total fix but a temporary solution. The more I use the window the less often the problem occurs.
