had starter rebuilt.. get a clicking sound when trying to start. will attempt at turnover with no luck put battery on charger still same problem.

Check all the battery cables, make sure they are good. Here is some info on how to properly check a starter: http://www.excelauto.com/online/Tech.d/strvdt.html
there are 2 starter relays on that truck, 1 on starter,and 1 on driver side fender
ty for response and link spoke to man who rebuilt starter tells me now that the ground wire connected to the starter was weakly connected when he did the job but didnt have tools to fix it....... like (duh) why not return and do the job properly... so hopefully in day or so he will return to finish the job. thanks again.
Well at least the problem was found and it's going to be addressed. Doesn't sounds like a top notch tech but sometimes we all have to learn the hard way.
